Key Responsibilities
- Hands-on Software Engineering: Write production code, implement robust backend software components, and build reliable asynchronous execution pipelines alongside AI models.
- Agentic Framework Design: Develop deterministic-agentic bridges, ensuring complex autonomous tasks function within predictable, secure, and compliant financial boundaries.
- Production Deployment & Scale: Take responsibility for transitioning machine learning models from research prototypes to stable, high-performance production code.
- Agentic Systems in Production: Collaborate with backend and data engineers to transition agentic workflows from prototype to reliable, monitored production systems, focusing on practical outcomes.
- AI-Augmented Development: Utilize modern AI tools (such as Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot) as an integral part of your daily workflow to enhance iteration, architecture design, and system delivery.
About You
- Senior AI / ML Engineering Depth: You have 7–15 years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in senior AI or ML engineering roles. Your experience includes designing, writing, and scaling production-grade machine learning and AI systems.
- Engineering Rigor: You prioritize clean, testable code and possess strong programming skills in Python alongside asynchronous execution models.
- Production LLM & Agentic Frameworks: Comfortable with contemporary LLM tools and orchestration frameworks like LangGraph and Microsoft Agent Framework (MAF), you have experience deploying agentic systems into production environments.
- Agentic Design Patterns: You can apply core agentic patterns (e.g., Plan-and-Solve, ReAct, Reflection) and explain their trade-offs related to reliability, cost, and latency.
- Context & Prompt Engineering: You have hands-on experience engineering prompts and context, ensuring agents behave reliably and efficiently.
- Retrieval, RAG & Semantic Search: You have practical experience building RAG pipelines and semantic search architectures, including chunking, embeddings, and hybrid search methodologies.
- AI Evaluation & Measurement: You know how to evaluate AI systems in production (quality, cost, latency) using frameworks such as RAGAS and DeepEval.
- PII & Data Privacy: You understand the nuances of handling personally identifiable information in regulated environments and know the necessary precautions.
- Regulated-Environment Comfort: Familiar with designing and deploying AI systems within strict compliance and audit frameworks; experience in fintech or crypto is advantageous, but not a prerequisite.
- Autonomous Milestone Execution: Capable of managing deadlines while balancing task ownership and effective communication of technical context across the organization.
- Linguistic Edge: Fluent in English, able to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across various locations.
Bonus Points
- Startup Exposure: Experience in startups with a flexible and adaptive approach to technical design.
- Fintech or Crypto Literacy: Previous experience building software in regulated financial or web3 sectors is appreciated but not mandatory.
- Agentic Deployments: Proven track record of delivering live, multi-agent automated workflows to production.
