Senior Airline Economics Marketing Specialist

About the Role
The company is seeking a Senior Airline Economics Marketing Specialist to join our Sales & Marketing organization in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will serve as a technical expert in analyzing and quantifying the economic and financial aspects of the company's products and services, aligning them with customers’ needs and competitive offerings. This role requires expertise in aircraft operating and introductory costs, maintenance costs, flight crew cost modeling, value analysis, and proficiency in financial analysis areas.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will perform the following duties:

• Develop creative, persuasive presentations and value analyses that create a preference for the company's products in support of sales campaigns.
• Confidently present comprehensive airplane economic value stories to customers, industry forums, the company executive management, and trade associations.
• Develop feasibility studies that demonstrate the financial benefits of the company's airplanes in an airline's system, assisting airlines in optimizing fleet plans.
• Continually seek innovative ways to present the company's products favorably in the market to various audiences including airlines, lessors, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MROs), media, and the financial community.
• Create and maintain economic and financial methods and models that support the business function.
• Serve as a resource within the company, proficient in financial analysis including: airplane ownership costs, cash flow, net present value, internal rate of return, knowledge of industry financial health, hard currency analysis, and lease vs. buy analysis.
• This role is on-site at the Dubai office 5 days a week with up to 3 months of initial training and onboarding in Seattle.

Collaboration and Flexibility
Operating within a global team, the successful applicant will work closely with other Sales and Marketing team members from Dubai. The role requires flexibility to collaborate with colleagues across multiple time zones, including working outside standard business hours as necessary.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in analyzing data and communicating results to executive leadership or customers.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
• High level of initiative and a proactive approach to collaboration, problem-solving, and ownership of projects.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on projects of significant importance.
• Fluent proficiency in the English language.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

• 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience analyzing airline market or financial data.
• Familiarity with both the company's and competitor products.
• Prior experience in the commercial aviation industry, including airlines or lessors.
• Language capabilities beyond English.

Typical Education & Experience
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

Position Details
This requisition is for an international, locally hired position in Dubai, UAE. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and will be commensurate with experience and qualifications in accordance with applicable UAE law. Employment is subject to the candidate's ability to satisfy all UAE labor and immigration formalities.
