Senior Analyst, Data Management

About
Formulate, implement and administer enterprise data management policies to ensure efficient utilization of resources and adequate protection of the company's information assets. Evaluate, implement, and customize backup solutions/technologies and recovery solutions to meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Define the scope and manage the execution of the data management project.
• Handle project planning and resource allocation.
• Monitor operation and optimize the process against SLA.
• Liaise with concerned parties to build, test, release, and deploy changes.
• Understand business expectations and forecast future capacity requirements for the Section.
• Analyze business processes to determine how information analysis and KPI can enhance management decision-making.
• Identify patterns and help the business react to changing business conditions.
• Review and update policies, procedures, standards, and operation guidelines for data management.
• Simplify servers, databases, and data recovery to meet Service Level Agreements on production environments.
• Conduct research for new relevant tools and technologies, recommending adoption where applicable.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• 8 years of experience in a related field.
• Professional certifications as applicable.

Work Conditions

• Physical Effort: Minimal
• Work Environment: A/C environment, could be exposed to the prevailing weather conditions like heat, humidity & dust during occasional site visits.
