Senior Analyst, Digital Commercial & Financial Solutions

About the Role
The Senior Analyst (Group Commercial & Financial Solutions) is responsible for the deployment, customization, maintenance, and support of high-quality, cost-effective Commercial & Financial solutions to meet digital business requirements. This role involves planning and participating in the evaluation of business processes and developing strategies for new solution deployments, change management for existing applications, and enhancement provisions. The analyst will also lead the development of interfaces between systems and participate in the evaluation of packages to ensure alignment with business needs.

Key Accountabilities

• Identification of Business Needs

  • Collaborate with Group Commercial & Financial process owners to assess technological needs and explore scalable IT solutions.
  • Plan and conduct feasibility studies, business cases, request for proposals, and proofs of concept following established project management methodologies.
  • Review third-party proposals and provide expert analysis to management regarding technical concerns.
  • Create architecture specifications and high-level design documentation for Digital & Cybersecurity services.

• Group Commercial & Financial Solutions Standards and Framework

  • Research and consolidate best practices in digital solutions management, ensuring alignment with the Group Digital & Cybersecurity framework.
  • Collaborate with security functions to develop guidelines and policies for compliance with architectural standards.
  • Support disaster recovery planning and validate compliance of related projects.

• Group Commercial & Financial Solution Development

  • Lead projects for Group Commercial & Financial solutions, managing various factors such as integration, scope, and risks.
  • Design and implement test plans and conduct User Acceptance Testing, documenting all outcomes.

• Group Commercial & Financial Solutions Delivery

  • Analyze, scope development, and deliver technical evaluations and prototyping solutions.
  • Ensure service delivery in alignment with company standards and SLAs, while managing solutions implementation and testing protocols.

• Conduct Systems' Pre-deployment Activities

  • Conduct feasibility studies and assist in designing business processes.
  • Analyze functional requirements and recommend improvements.

• Evaluate New Solutions and Services

  • Review off-the-shelf packages to recommend appropriate solutions to business requirements.
  • Support existing ERP implementations and manage change requests.

• Solution Upgrade & Maintenance

  • Plan and implement enhancements to existing solutions to meet changing business requirements.
  • Conduct feasibility studies for new tools adoption.

• Document Digital Solutions and Services

  • Prepare solutions design documents and maintain an archive of solution documentation.

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)

  • Implement best practices for all Group Commercial & Financial Solutions and provide user support during new software releases.

• Other Duties

  • Promote the protection of digital assets in alignment with information security standards.

  • Plan and supervise activities to meet functional objectives and develop staff expertise.

  • Contribute to the preparation and implementation of the Section/Department budgets.

Communications & Working Relationships

  • Engage with IT management and end-users across the company regarding Digital & Cybersecurity solutions and project collaborations.

  • Liaise with internal/external auditors, vendors, and IT service providers to ensure quality service delivery.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

• Minimum Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT engineering, or equivalent.

• Minimum Experience & Knowledge:

  • 8 years of relevant IT experience, emphasizing IT solutions and project management. Boutique consultancy experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge in IT Architecture, ERP system architecture, IT governance, and operations.

• Professional Certifications:

  • Business Solutions/Application Development certification preferred.
