Position

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical UAE National to join our Finance team as a Senior Financial Analyst (BRF). In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting regulatory returns to the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE), Insurance Authority (IA), and DFSA, while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also play a key role in financial reporting governance, subsidiary oversight, data analysis, and reporting automation initiatives that enhance efficiency and reporting quality.

Job Description

  • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual regulatory returns to the CBUAE.
  • Manage regulatory reporting requirements for the company subsidiaries, including Protégo and RAK FS.
  • Ensure all regulatory submissions are accurate, complete, and delivered within regulatory deadlines.
  • Review financial reports, MIS reports, and performance analysis provided by various finance stakeholders.
  • Support management with financial reporting, analysis, and ad-hoc reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, regulators, and technology teams to ensure reporting accuracy and compliance.
  • Drive reporting efficiency through automation, data extraction, validation, and process improvement using tools such as Power BI and advanced Excel.
  • Support governance and control activities, including monthly e-Governance submissions and reporting controls.

Requirements

  • UAE National (with Family Book).
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Regulatory Reporting, or Financial Analysis.
  • Understanding of banking regulations, accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance frameworks.
  • Knowledge of CBUAE regulations, Basel III, IFRS, DFSA, and Insurance Authority requirements is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work accurately under tight deadlines.
  • Experience working with large datasets and reporting tools is preferred.
  • Professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA, or CFA (or progression towards certification) are an advantage.
