Position

As a Senior Analyst in Healthcare Analytics at McKinsey & Company, you will join consulting teams focused on quantitative analyses and AI/ML methodologies. Your primary responsibility will be to continuously develop data-driven solutions and innovative approaches tailored for healthcare clients, including public bodies, health insurance companies, and providers. Your role will involve significant interaction with diverse stakeholders, requiring strong project management and communication skills.

Within the Healthcare Team, you will work in an entrepreneurial environment, driving independent improvements and handling large datasets through analysis and modeling. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Analyzing and modeling large datasets.
  • Collaborating with Data Engineers to build and maintain proprietary platforms and solutions.
  • Developing dashboards and ML/AI models using low-code/no-code tools and Python, as well as visualization tools.
  • Cooperating with Knowledge and Insights experts and consulting teams to prepare and execute client work.
  • Assisting in the creation of healthcare assets and driving innovation within the firm.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Successfully completed degree in computer or data analytics/science, ideally with a focus on biostatistics, bioinformatics, or epidemiology.
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in relevant fields such as Data Analysis/Science, Business Intelligence, or consulting.
  • Proficient in programming with Python and/or R.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Plotly).
  • Familiarity with SQL and data querying from relational databases or cloud-based environments.
  • A keen interest in healthcare topics; experience within the Saudi healthcare system is a plus.
  • Understanding of electronic health records, clinical terminologies (ICD, CPT, SNOMED), and health data standards (HL7, FHIR).
  • Experience with omics data (genomic, proteomic, etc.) is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) and FDA guidelines for software as a medical device (SaMD).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills in analytical and quantitative domains.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, with motivation to drive improvement and innovation independently.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to client and McKinsey locations, domestically and internationally.
  • Strong communication skills in both Arabic and English.
