About the Role
The Senior Analytics Specialist will actively collaborate with sales and support teams to develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and sales forecasting models. The specialist will own and manage multiple ongoing and ad-hoc data initiatives and projects, employing innovative approaches to data analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of core sales data, reports, dashboards, and sales forecasting models.
- Conduct quantitative analyses of data and trends to deliver insights proactively, define goals, and drive program improvements.
- Solve business problems through data analysis, data mining, optimization tools, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques.
- Design bespoke solutions and dashboards to facilitate operational and exploratory analysis.
- Develop new data models and manage reference data to ensure high data quality.
- Summarize and visualize results, highlighting insights and opportunities for the sales teams.
Qualifications
- For candidates with a Bachelor's Degree: Minimum of 3 years working experience in a complex numerical and analytical environment. Experience within the airline industry is preferred.
- For candidates with a High School Certification or Diploma: Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume data from various sources to identify patterns and relationships.
- At least 2 years of experience in writing complex SQL queries using Azure, SQL, or Microsoft SQL.
- At least 2 years of experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire).
