Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with the Analytics Manager and/or Business Engagement Partner to analyze requirements and design solutions to business problems.
- Execute complex ad-hoc analyses using Etihad’s analytical toolkit to derive further insights and identify root causes.
- Develop and deliver machine learning-based reports and predictive analytics to support data-driven decision-making and optimize performance across Etihad Airways.
- Summarize and visualize data science-driven results, highlighting actionable insights for business translators.
- Maintain a documentation repository of solutions, including methodology.
- Identify opportunities for automation and improvements in analyses, making recommendations for further development.
- Develop and maintain proficiency with advanced analytics and database tools, in-house data sets, and other resources.
- Specialize in one or more key analytical disciplines and become a go-to expert in that area.
- Act as a coach to the wider analytics team and assist in the training of junior Analytics Analysts.
Education & Experience:
- A diploma is required (2 years or more).
- Additional qualifications in data science, advanced analytics, or relevant analytical techniques are an advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience (if holding a Bachelor’s degree) or a minimum of 7 years of experience in a relevant field (if holding a High School Certification or Diploma) with proven experience in advanced analytics.
- Experience with query tool applications such as SQL, Databricks, Python, and Synapse is preferred.
- Proficiency in analytical tools like Power BI or Tableau is required.
