Synechron is seeking a Senior Android Developer with over 8 years of experience to join our team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and implementing digital products, contributing across the full technology stack and ensuring we stay at the forefront of technology. You will work with a cross-functional team, including Product Owners and Designers, to co-develop innovative digital products.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in the full software development lifecycle.
- Lead and manage a team of developers.
- Develop mobile applications for both phones and tablets using Android, Android Studio, and Gradle.
- Ensure the use of Android SDK, Google Play Services, and Android Compatibility Library.
- Utilize Android development patterns including Java OOP, MVP, SQLite, and RESTful APIs.
- Implement UI development with knowledge of Google Material Design.
- Employ thorough testing practices including TDD, unit tests, and code coverage.
- Manage Playstore deployments and use various development tools effectively.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of experience in software development and Agile methodologies (SCRUM).
- Extensive mobile development experience in Android.
- Proficiency in backend integration and managing databases.
- Familiarity with Android libraries such as Dagger2 and Retrofit2.
- Expertise in programming languages and frameworks like Swift, Objective C, Java, and Python.
- Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment processes.
Desired Skills:
- Excellent programming skills in modern programming languages.
- Strong understanding of application security and scalable applications.
- Experience with Git, code refactoring, and design patterns.
