Senior application operation support engineer

About the Job
As a Senior Application Operation Support Engineer at DXC Technology, you will assist in the management and operation of infrastructure services, providing essential support to the team. Your responsibilities will include contributing to the implementation of infrastructure strategies and projects, maintaining the performance and availability of infrastructure systems, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. You will collaborate with other teams to understand their infrastructure requirements and support the design and implementation processes.

In this role, you will participate in the implementation of best practices and process improvements within infrastructure services. You will also assist in the development of infrastructure documentation, including policies, procedures, and reports, while contributing to the optimization of resource allocation for various infrastructure tasks and projects. Effective communication will be critical as you provide support and collaborate with team members.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Typically, 6+ years of relevant work experience in the industry, with a minimum of 2+ years in a similar role
• Proven experience in infrastructure technology management
• Proficiencies in technical knowledge and teamwork
• A continuous learner who stays abreast of industry knowledge and technology

Other Qualifications

• An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
• Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, are advantageous
