Key Responsibilities:
- Define and verify DCN functionalities for the company products and platforms.
- Communicate design decisions and technology roadmaps with internal stakeholders.
- Oversee the cost structure of DCN solutions with Procurement and Finance.
- Coordinate the preparation of RFI/RFP/RFQ documents and approve BOQs for network devices.
- Approve both high-level and low-level designs for new deployments.
- Participate in optimizing existing DCN topologies and approve architecture changes.
- Approve complex WAN/LAN scalable network solutions with a focus on high availability, redundancy, and resiliency.
- Ensure integration with external networks adheres to technical standards.
- Enforce compliance with regulatory standards.
- Lead a technical team of architects/engineers during design and documentation.
- Manage vendor communications during technology selection and solution reviews.
- Maintain client relationships and create disaster recovery procedures.
- Standardize processes and improve collaboration with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecom Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in DC network design and implementation.
- Extensive knowledge in L2/L3 networking concepts, security concepts, and data center networking.
- Experience in core network technologies: routing and switching, QoS, and overlay technologies.
- Understanding of next-generation firewall deployment use cases and public IP, NNI/PNI peering concepts.
- Proficient in automation and scripting (Python).
- GCC driving license is highly desirable.
