Senior Architect - DC Network Engineering

The company is seeking a Senior Architect for DC Network Engineering in Abu Dhabi. As a pivotal member of our team, the Senior Network Architect will lead the design and decision-making process for the company's DC Network (DCN) infrastructure, focusing on scalability, lifecycle management, and performance. The role involves approving complex DCN solutions and strategically planning the network to meet future requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Defining and verifying DCN functionalities for the company's products and platforms.
• Communicating design decisions and technology roadmaps with internal stakeholders.
• Coordinating with Procurement and Finance teams regarding cost structures of DCN solutions.
• Verifying and preparing RFI/RFP/RFQ documents and approving BOQs for network devices.
• Approving High-level and Low-level designs for new deployments.
• Optimizing existing DCN network topologies and approving architectural changes.
• Enforcing security policies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Leading a technical team and maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecom Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in DC network design and implementation.
• Extensive knowledge of L2/L3 networking concepts, including IPv6.
• Understanding of security concepts, including Next Generation Firewall features.
• Deep understanding of Data Center SDN architectures and protocols.
• Experience in automation and scripting processes (Python).
• An expert-level certificate in the area of DCN is a plus.
• GCC Driving license is highly desirable.

Language Requirements: Proficiency in English is expected.
