The company is seeking a highly experienced Senior Architect / Architectural Design Engineer to support the design review, coordination, and technical assurance of architectural packages for a large-scale airport development project. This role requires strong expertise in airport terminal planning, building architecture, passenger flow design, and multidisciplinary coordination within complex aviation environments.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in architectural design and delivery of major infrastructure or airport projects, with strong exposure to design review, authority compliance, and stakeholder coordination in PMC or delivery partner roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the review of architectural design submissions across all project stages.
- Ensure compliance with international standards, local authority regulations, and client specifications.
- Support value engineering initiatives to optimize functionality and passenger experience.
- Review terminal layouts and spatial planning for landside and airside facilities.
- Coordinate architectural design with MEP, structural, civil, ICT, and aviation systems teams.
- Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with approved architectural designs.
- Participate in design review workshops and technical meetings.
- Promote sustainable design practices and contribute to green building objectives.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of experience in architectural design and coordination.
- Proven experience on airport, transportation, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of architectural design standards and best practices.
- Proficiency in BIM tools (Revit, Navisworks, or equivalent).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
Desired Skills:
- Professional certification (RIBA, AIA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Experience in international airport development projects.
- Knowledge of ICAO, IATA, NFPA, and relevant aviation standards.
