About the Job: The Senior Architect will report to the Head of Architecture while also being accountable to the Delivery Head & Lead in the business/functional domain. This role requires deep technical expertise, potential leadership qualities, and a solution-oriented mindset. The individual will serve the Technology Platforms domain, which is responsible for implementing and maintaining Tier Zero infrastructure (e.g., Networks, Compute, Data, Integration, and Workplace Digitization). This position involves both technical solutioning and security, with a focus on cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices.
- Design and implement end-to-end solutions for requirements from platform owners.
- Develop and design solutions and high-level designs for virtualization technologies, specifically Kubevirt on Open Shift & Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) provisioning pipelines.
- Ensure compliance with the company's development best practices and architectural patterns covering Resiliency, Reliability & Security (RRS).
- Contribute to building reliable, resilient, and secure platforms.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with cloud-native technologies such as containers, service mesh, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and virtualization.
- 3+ years of experience in Cyber/Information Security, with knowledge of incorporating security controls into designs for virtualization technologies like Kubevirt.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure technologies, including Kubevirt on OpenShift, general virtualization, infrastructure provisioning technologies (Terraform & Ansible), Linux-based operating systems (RHEL, OLVM), and Windows-based technologies (Windows Server & Active Directory).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and OCI.
- An understanding of architectural patterns, including microservices and well-architected cloud design principles, with a focus on operational excellence, security, reliability, and cost optimization.
- Deep understanding of security concepts, including Authentication, Authorization, Encryption, and Cloud Security regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS).
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
