The Senior Architect - Infrastructure & Cloud Engineering will lead the architecture, design, and technical governance of large-scale private cloud infrastructure, focusing on performance, scalability, resilience, security, and operational readiness. The role involves close collaboration with architecture, engineering, product, security, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure that cloud platform designs meet both functional and non-functional requirements as well as business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture and design of large-scale private and hybrid cloud platforms based on OpenStack.
- Define cloud platform architecture standards, technology roadmaps, and service evolution.
- Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Evaluate and design cloud infrastructure technologies across multiple domains.
- Review and approve architectural documentation, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
- Drive architectural improvements to optimize cloud platform efficiency and resilience.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and solution recommendations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in designing and managing infrastructure or cloud platforms, with 5+ years in large-scale OpenStack environments.
- Expert-level knowledge of private cloud and software-defined infrastructure technologies.
- Strong understanding of data center networking concepts and technologies.
- Knowledge of Linux systems administration and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
- Familiarity with observability and logging platforms is desirable.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Language Requirements:
Proficient English language skills are preferred.
