Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices.
- Design and implement end-to-end solutions for requirements from platform owners.
- Create solutions and high-level designs for virtualization technologies, particularly Kubevirt on OpenShift and IaaS provisioning pipelines.
- Ensure adherence to internal ENBD development best practices and architectural patterns covering Resiliency, Reliability, and Security (RRS).
- Balance performance, resiliency, reliability, security, and cost in design patterns and solutions.
- Conduct education workshops for Chapter & Tribe members and lead peer review sessions.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with cloud-native technologies such as containers, service mesh, and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- 3+ years in Cyber/Information Security, with knowledge of integrating security controls into designs, specifically focusing on virtualization technologies like Kubevirt.
- Proficient in infrastructure technologies including Kubevirt on OpenShift, Terraform, Ansible, and various Operating Systems (e.g., Red Hat, Oracle Linux, Windows Server).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and OCI.
- Strong understanding of architectural patterns such as microservices and cloud design principles to ensure operational excellence, security, reliability, and cost optimization.
- Knowledgeable in security concepts including Authentication, Authorization, Encryption, and Infrastructure Security.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, along with strong stakeholder and time management capabilities.
