The Senior Asset Suppression Specialist will contribute to the tactical and strategic management of asset performance and availability, enhancing maintenance processes and implementing engineering solutions to ensure optimal operational efficiency and sustainability within the RSAF fleet.
Job Accountabilities
- Support the Asset Suppression Team Leader by optimizing maintenance processes to reduce criticality and manage fleet availability.
- Identify, develop, and manage strategic maintenance projects aimed at reducing asset criticality and enhancing operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with local SHE plans, reporting on hazards and incidents.
- Foster and maintain constructive relationships with stakeholders, including RSAF customers and program personnel, facilitating integration and mitigation activities.
- Provide frequent reporting on findings, status, achievements, and performance indicators for stakeholders.
- Assist with Taif Operational & Management Reviews as needed.
- Support ongoing Engineering and Life Cycle Management activities, promote learning from experience and facilitate engineering change discussions.
Recruitment Specification
Essential
- Recognized qualification to NVQ3/ONC/OND/BTEC level in a relevant technical discipline, technical apprenticeship, or an equivalent technical qualification.
- Knowledge of the Typhoon aircraft from maintenance, support, and design perspectives.
- Experience in a fast jet operations support environment.
- Previous involvement with the RSAF and/or the RAF.
- Established network within the company Saudi Arabia and UK support organizations.
- Proven experience in managing relationships across both MODSAP and RSAF organizations.
Desirable
- Relevant type training (Typhoon ‘Q’ Course) and specialized equipment training, if required.
