The Chief of Staff sets key priorities and provides sponsorship, and in this position, you will own specific assignments, resolve routine issues, and recommend decisions requiring escalation. You will collaborate across Strategy, Finance, Growth, Product, Technology, Delivery, and other enabling functions within a dynamic AI product and deployment environment. Your success will be measured by the progress of priority initiatives against clear plans, the early resolution of risks and overdue commitments, trusted information for leadership, and demonstrable gains in AI-enabled workflows regarding time, information quality, or decision speed.
What You'll Own
- Frame ambiguous business problems, test hypotheses, and identify root causes using research, data, and stakeholder insights; propose practical decision alternatives.
- Build business cases and perform financial or operational analyses to evaluate value, feasibility, capacity, and risk; recommend priorities and sequencing of initiatives.
- Prepare concise executive briefs and decision materials to differentiate evidence from assumptions, making trade-offs, recommendations, accountable owners, and next steps clear.
- Lead agreed initiatives from scope definition to implementation and outcome reviews, utilizing proportionate PMO discipline across integrated work plans, critical paths, milestones, dependencies, RAID management, decision tracking, and benefit realization.
- Maintain a trusted, decision-ready view of agreed CEO Office priorities, ensuring alignment with accountable functional owners and relevant systems of record.
- Facilitate follow-through across functions, validate reported progress against completed outcomes and supporting evidence, resolve routine blockers, and devise recovery plans for delayed or off-track work.
- Conduct decision-focused governance and leadership reviews, ensuring action closure, maintaining alignment across competing interests, and escalating significant issues early with recommendations and implications.
- Redesign manual processes and create working prototypes using approved AI tools, automation, and low-code platforms, selecting methods based on business value, reliability, and maintainability.
What We're Looking For
- Relevant experience in strategy and operations, implementation-led consulting, transformation, or business operations; outcomes are more critical than formal credentials.
- Proven ability to independently diagnose complex problems and lead solutions to implementation, including recovering delayed initiatives and securing closure across functions without formal authority.
- Strong understanding of integrated planning, critical-path management, governance cadences, RAID logs, decision registers, action tracking, KPI reporting, and benefit realization.
- Hands-on AI capability is essential; must have built and tested an AI-enabled workflow or tool used by others and be capable of explaining contributions, limitations, and delivered value.
- Strong quantitative and commercial judgment, including experience with business cases, scenario analysis, and performance diagnosis, with proficiency in working directly with data, spreadsheets, and dashboards.
- Ability to translate business needs into requirements and prototypes with technical teams while maintaining sound judgment on AI limitations, data quality, confidentiality, security, and human oversight.
- Excellent executive writing and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to constructively challenge, handle sensitive issues discreetly, and determine when to act independently or involve the Chief of Staff.
- Reliable follow-through, adaptability, and a collaborative approach; capable of bringing structure to ambiguity, seeking early feedback, and enhancing work processes.
If you are a performance-driven, curious individual interested in building meaningful collaborations with stakeholders and creating customer-centric solutions, you will thrive in this role. A bias for action and a passion for pioneering new frontiers in the AI domain are integral to the culture.
