As a Senior Associate in Data Privacy, you will be instrumental in establishing Data Privacy functions within government and private organizations. Your role will include advising clients on structuring their response to various data privacy and governance compliance needs, developing governance structures, policies, procedures, and managing end-to-end project implementations. You will also collaborate with colleagues across the Middle East and international teams to lead research on emerging technologies related to data privacy and governance.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a privacy advisor to clients, guiding them through compliance needs.
  • Lead the development and implementation of data privacy governance structures and policies.
  • Manage projects focusing on budget management, stakeholder engagement, and internal processes.
  • Support business development activities, such as proposal development and client presentations.
  • Collaborate on client engagements and internal initiatives across Middle Eastern offices.

Qualifications:

  • Education: B.A/B.Sc. in Computer Engineering or a related field (M.Sc. preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in data governance and data privacy implementation.
  • Relevant Certifications: CIPPE or CIPM required; CIPT/DAMA is a plus.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, strong time management, ability to learn new concepts, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and G-suite applications.
