About the Role
This position owns the platforms behind three of the Group's core finance processes: financial consolidation, tax, and financial planning and analysis across the company and its subsidiaries. The role spans the entire Enterprise Performance Management landscape, encompassing Oracle EPM and Anaplan. You will act as the accountable platform specialist, partnering with Group Finance and Tax through every planning, close, and filing cycle. Responsibilities include translating process requirements into platform solutions, ensuring the reliability and continuous improvement of the platforms.

Roles and Responsibilities
Platform Ownership:
- Own the configuration, health, and evolution of the Enterprise Performance Management landscape supporting Consolidation, Tax, and financial planning and analysis, including Oracle EPM and Anaplan.
- Maintain a coherent view across platforms, understanding which processes run where, how they connect, and where the landscape needs to evolve.
- Contribute to roadmap input, including the adoption of new capabilities and rationalization opportunities across platforms.
Business Engagement:
- Partner with Group Finance on consolidation and close cycles, with Tax on provisioning and compliance processes, and with financial planning and analysis teams on budgeting and forecasting.
- Translate process requirements into platform solutions, carefully selecting the right platform for each need while balancing standardization with entity-specific requirements.
- Drive adoption and effective use of Enterprise Performance Management capabilities across Group and Subsidiary finance and tax teams.
Delivery & Enhancements:
- Manage the enhancement backlog across the landscape; specify, test, and release changes through the outsourced Solutions Factory model and platform vendors.
- Ensure disciplined release management aligned with finance and tax calendar constraints, avoiding changes that could jeopardize close, filing, or planning cycles.
- Align all changes with the Group architecture, security, and integration standards.
Integrations & Data Quality:
- Own integrations between the Enterprise Performance Management platforms, the Oracle ERP, and other source systems, ensuring reliable and reconciled data flows.
- Safeguard master data alignment and data accuracy across consolidation, tax, and planning processes.
- Ensure consistency of results across platforms where processes intersect, such as actuals feeding plans and consolidation outputs feeding tax.
Operations & Cycle Support:
- Provide priority support during close, filing, budgeting, and forecasting windows, coordinating with Technology Operations, managed services, and vendors.
- Manage incidents and service requests to resolution, protecting finance and tax deadlines.
What This Role Is Not:
- Not a single-vendor platform role; the mandate spans the full Enterprise Performance Management landscape, including Oracle EPM and Anaplan.
- Not a development role; build and configuration are executed through the Solutions Factory and vendors.
- Not a finance or tax process owner; process ownership remains with Group Finance and Tax.
- This role owns the platforms behind the Group's consolidation, tax, and financial planning processes.
Related Years of Experience
- Minimum of 6-8+ years of hands-on experience across Enterprise Performance Management platforms, specifically with knowledge of both Oracle EPM and Anaplan.
Field of Experience:
- Consolidation, tax, and financial planning processes: financial close and consolidation, tax provisioning and compliance, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Specifying and testing changes delivered through vendors or outsourced delivery models.
- Experience in multi-entity or group environments is preferred.
Technical and Interpersonal Skills:
- Process-first mindset focused on Consolidation, Tax, and financial planning outcomes, fluent in the platforms that serve them.
- Reliable under calendar pressure with an understanding that close, filing, and budget deadlines are immovable.
- Rigorous attention to data accuracy and cross-platform reconciliation.
- Proactive in proposing landscape improvements and rationalization rather than awaiting requests.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
- Oracle EPM and/or Anaplan certifications are advantageous.
