Senior Associate, Indirect Tax Technology

We are seeking a technology-enabled dynamic and meticulous Senior Associate to join our Indirect Tax Technology team. The ideal candidate should have 4-6 years of relevant experience in ERP (SAP/Oracle) Indirect Tax technology, having a detailed understanding of tax touchpoints in S/4 HANA and Oracle, including cloud-based environments with project management experience. This role involves understanding and assessing the current tax technology solutions implemented in the ERPs, assessing the e-invoicing landscape of the systems, suggesting best practices, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality functional design and implementations.

Responsibilities

• Strong understanding of tax touchpoints in ERP systems.
• Experience in regional/global e-invoicing assessments and implementations.
• Ability to assess current tax setups, recommend best practices, and deliver high-quality system functional designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage projects effectively.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problems.
• Design solutions based on requirements and perform testing in ERP systems and Tax Engines.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in ERP (SAP/Oracle) Indirect Tax technology.
• Detailed knowledge and experience in technology implementation projects, including systems impact assessments and implementation support.
• Strong ERP skills related to Tax Business Process and configurations.
• Experience with e-invoicing applications and knowledge of UAE e-invoicing regulations.
• Familiarity with business requirements documentation, functional designs, configurations, test scenarios, and training guides.

Certifications
Certifications in ERP (SAP/Oracle), Tax Engines, and/or Project Management is preferable.
