Senior Automation Tester

The company is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Tester to lead automated testing across UI, API, and orchestration, embedding quality gates in GitLab pipelines. This role involves defining the strategy and building maintainable UI/API automation and contract tests. You will integrate performance and security tests to ensure a flake-free continuous integration (CI) process, provide quality and risk dashboards, and coach the Quality Engineering (QE) team.

Key Responsibilities

• Define strategy and build maintainable UI/API automation and contract tests.
• Integrate performance/security tests; ensure flake-free CI.
• Provide quality/risk dashboards; coach QE team.

Required Skills

• Test automation in TypeScript/JS/Python, using Cypress or Playwright, and pytest.
• Experience in contract testing (e.g., PACT) and performance testing (e.g., k6, Locust, JMeter).
• Knowledge of private cloud scenario design including provisioning, policies, and approvals.
• Database validation for PostgreSQL/MS SQL operations and migrations.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Cypress/Playwright, Jest, pytest, k6/Locust, Pact, and GitLab CI.
