Job Specific Responsibilities:
- Azure Cloud Architecture: Design, deploy, and manage complex Azure cloud environments with an emphasis on advanced network configurations using Fortinet and Azure Firewall.
- Express Route: Design, configure, and manage Azure ExpressRoute circuits for secure, low-latency connectivity between on-premises networks and Azure.
- PaaS Management: Oversee management of Platform as a Service (PaaS) offerings, including container services and SQL as a Service.
- Cybersecurity Implementation: Implement robust cybersecurity measures, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access, and Azure Key Vault to secure Azure environments.
- Performance and Cost Monitoring: Monitor Azure environments for performance and cost efficiency, utilizing FinOps principles.
- Azure Architecture Development: Develop and maintain comprehensive Azure architecture, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Azure Virtual Desktop: Implement and manage Azure Virtual Desktop deployments supporting multiple operating systems such as Windows Server and Linux.
- Automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and maintain automation using tools like Terraform, Bicep, along with other IaC methodologies.
- Configuration Management: Implement configuration management tools (e.g., Chef, Puppet) to ensure consistency across environments.
- Monitoring and Logging: Manage comprehensive monitoring systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
- Scripting and Automation: Enhance operational efficiency through advanced scripting with PowerShell and Azure CLI.
Minimum Experience Level:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer or in a similar role.
- Significant expertise in managing large-scale Azure environments.
- Strong understanding of Azure networking, Azure AD, hybrid cloud environments, and ExpressRoute.
- Knowledge of cloud automation tools like Terraform and Bicep, and proven grasp of IaC principles.
- Certification: Microsoft Azure certification (Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Administrator Associate) preferred.
