Senior Azure Infrastructure Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Senior Azure Infrastructure Administrator for an exciting contract opportunity in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for the implementation, administration, and security of our client's Microsoft Azure-based solutions. This is a hands-on role that requires deep technical expertise in Azure services, a strong understanding of DevOps practices, and a proactive approach to security and incident management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and operate PaaS-based infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for Azure cloud services and platform components.
• Administer, configure, and support Azure services including Web Apps, Application Gateway, API Management, etc.
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts, incidents, and events.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and ensure timely remediation.
• Automate infrastructure activities using DevOps practices and tools.
• Provide application health visibility through dashboards and metric/log aggregation.
• Ensure compliance with corporate security policy, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements.

Collaboration & Security:

• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure design and deployment of new technologies.
• Coordinate incident response activities with internal and external teams.
• Participate in Azure audits, vulnerability assessments, and direct remediation efforts.
• Work with other departments to integrate security measures into business processes.

Mandatory Qualifications & Skills:

• Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
  • ITIL Certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Azure Administration role.

• Technical Must-Haves:

  • Proven experience managing Microsoft Azure-based solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure services (compute, storage, networking, security, identity).
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Networking.
  • Experience with automation tools like Azure DevOps and PowerShell.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and deployment models.
  • Experience in enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Desirable Qualifications:

  • MBA or Project Management (Waterfall/Agile) Certification.
  • ISO27001 certification.
  • 2+ years of experience managing Azure projects.
  • Knowledge of PCI DSS, ISO standards, and UAE Security Regulations.
  • Solid understanding of Information Security operations and governance.

Work Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (On-site)

Contract Duration: 6 months (Renewable to long-term)
