About the Job:
The Senior Back-End Developer will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining the server-side logic of web applications. This role emphasizes the development and optimization of RESTful APIs, managing data storage, and ensuring effective integration between the back end and front end of applications. The successful candidate will primarily utilize ASP.NET Core, C#, SQL, and ORM frameworks to implement secure, efficient, and scalable back-end systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core
- Implement and optimize HTTP client communication for integrations with external systems
- Utilize Entity Framework or other ORM tools to interact with SQL databases
- Write efficient and maintainable C# code following best practices
- Use LINQ for data queries and transformations
- Optimize application performance through effective caching strategies
- Ensure proper database schema design, indexing, and query optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and documentation
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues in production environments
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in back-end development using ASP.NET Core
- Proficiency in C#, object-oriented programming, and .NET frameworks
- Solid understanding of REST architecture and secure, scalable API development
- Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases
- Strong knowledge of LINQ and Entity Framework or other ORM technologies
- Familiarity with HTTP client libraries (e.g., HttpClient, RestSharp) and external API consumption
- Experience with caching mechanisms (e.g., MemoryCache, Redis)
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit, NUnit)
- Understanding of async programming in C#
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis)
