As a Senior Back-End Software Engineer, you will own the architecture, design, development, and testing of scalable Compliance and RegTech solutions. You will build and maintain secure, high-performance applications using Django REST Framework/Python to streamline counterparty onboarding, risk assessment, and regulatory screening.
Job Responsibilities:
- Build and own APIs to power onboarding, screening, and entity intelligence.
- Expand product functionality by introducing new data-driven capabilities.
- Integrate ElasticSearch for advanced query performance and analytics.
- Work closely with product managers and compliance specialists.
- Implement a shift-left testing approach in the development lifecycle.
- Ensure security, scalability, and maintainability of applications.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies in full-stack development and compliance automation.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Training: Prior training in Django REST Framework, Angular, or DevOps. Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud are beneficial.
- Work Experience:
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience primarily with Python/Django REST Framework.
- Proven experience in scalable secure applications, preferably in RegTech or Compliance.
- Experience with agile and remote-first environments.
- Core Skills: Strong experience with Python, Django, database design, API security, and performance optimization.
