As a Senior Backend Developer at Axi, you will architect and build robust systems, optimizing performance for speed and reliability. Your role includes ensuring security and compliance with industry standards, integrating with third-party APIs and payment processing, and transitioning to a microservices architecture. You will design scalable and modular solutions for improved maintainability, implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes, and monitor system health for proactive issue detection. This role is pivotal in driving innovation at the intersection of finance and technology, shaping the digital infrastructure that powers Axi's services.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate solid understanding of Agile methodologies and actively contribute to continuous improvement.
- Mentor and assist junior team members through pair programming and peer review.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-organized code with a focus on TDD and unit testing.
- Implement and maintain security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Stay updated on new technologies and design robust, scalable software architecture.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Backend Developer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficient in C#, .NET Core/6/7, Clean Code practices (TDD, SOLID).
- Experience with distributed systems/microservices and a deep understanding of core trading system functionalities (order routing, execution, risk management) is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, able to discuss technical information clearly and concisely.
- Azure services experience (Cosmos DB, Service Bus, Event Grid, Key Vaults) is a plus.
- Experience in payment provider or financial services is beneficial.
