Senior Backend Developer - Node

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will contribute to the development of Tether's backend components. Key responsibilities include:

• Continuously developing innovative features to enhance the professional trading experience for our customers, using agile methodologies.
• Ensuring all backend services remain smooth, responsive, and real-time as the platform scales.
• Implementing the highest security principles and standards in the services and core processes to protect the safety of our user base.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Work experience with Node.js/JavaScript, with a minimum of 6 years.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and peer-to-peer technologies.
• Experience in developing a complex platform, interacting with databases like MySQL and MongoDB.
• Capability in learning new technologies quickly and a strong understanding of security practices.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience with blockchain integration.
• Knowledge of high-availability concepts.
• Familiarity with Ruby, Rust, or C++ is a plus.
• Experience with message queues (Redis), caches, and job queues.

Excellent English communication skills are essential.
