Senior Backend Developer - Node

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be part of the team that works on the development of Tether’s backend components. Key responsibilities include:

• New Products and Features: Continuously create innovative new features to provide the best trading experience for customers, utilizing agile methodologies to maintain top user experience.
• Scalability: Ensure all backend services remain smooth, responsive, and real-time for customers as the platform scales to accommodate new user growth.
• Security: Implement the highest security standards and principles in building all services and core processes to protect the user base.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience working with Node.js/JavaScript.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Experience in developing a complex platform.
• Knowledge of peer-to-peer technologies.
• Proficient in interacting with databases (MySQL, MongoDB).
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and good understanding of security practices.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with blockchain integration.
• Familiarity with high-availability concepts.
• Skills in Ruby, Rust, or C++.
• Knowledge of message queues (Redis), caches, and job queues.

Language Requirements: Excellent English communication skills.
