Senior Backend Engineer

Your Role:
We are seeking Senior Backend Engineers who will play a key role in building cutting-edge platforms for seamless and scalable transactions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing our secure software infrastructure, collaborating with a diverse team of engineers, designers, and product experts to innovate and enhance user experiences.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems across Tamara’s engineering teams.
• Debug production issues across services and various levels of the stack.
• Collaborate with business, product, and operations teams to address users’ pain points.

Your Expertise:

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong experience in building scalable products and services.
• Good understanding of SOLID principles and Design Patterns.
• Familiarity with AWS, OCI, and Kubernetes/Docker.
• Experience with distributed systems, messaging tools like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Agile/Scrum methodology experience.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, Vue.js, HTML, and CSS is a plus.
• Proactive, goal-oriented, and self-structured.
• Experience in a startup environment is a plus.
• Team player with good written and spoken communication skills in English.
