Senior Backend Engineer - Breakout Prop

As a Senior Backend Engineer at a crypto-native prop trading platform backed by the company, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing core services that power our trading environment. Your focus will be on metrics, data pipelines, and performance monitoring to ensure real-time visibility into trading activity and financial performance.

Location: United Arab Emirates (Remote)
Work Conditions: Full-time, Remote

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, low-latency, and scalable back-end services and RESTful APIs using C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Architect solutions for real-time financial data processing, trade surveillance, and portfolio analysis.
• Build pipelines and data models for metrics dashboards, risk reporting, and performance analytics.
• Manage complex queries and schemas in PostgreSQL and integrate APIs with third-party systems.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to meet uptime and latency requirements.
• Implement security best practices including authentication, authorization, and data encryption.

Skills Required:

• 7+ years of backend engineering experience (3+ years in financial or high-performance systems).
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience deploying and scaling applications in AWS.
• Familiarity with API platforms, real-time data pipelines, or metrics systems.
• Understanding or interest in trading systems and cryptocurrency markets.

Language Requirements: Familiarity with multiple languages is a plus, as employees come from diverse backgrounds and speak over 50 languages.
