We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in cloud services, specifically in large cloud environments, edge computing, and data transfer across multiple network protocols. Experience with containerized development and cloud-to-edge patterns is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance, and reliable backend systems and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex technical challenges.
- Work with team members to create solutions that meet both business and technical requirements.
- Maintain best practices in software development, including agile methodologies, continuous integration, and test-driven development.
- Improve existing systems and services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in C#/C++ development with large-scale production services.
- Strong experience in cloud and services, focusing on large cloud, edge compute, and multiple network protocol data transfer.
- Preferable experience with containerized development and cloud-to-edge patterns.
- Proficient in agile development methodologies and continuous integration practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Language Requirements:
- Proficiency in English is expected.
