Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Dashboard & Report Development: Design, develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards, performance reports, and KPI scorecards that meet business requirements and support decision-making.
- KPI & Business Reporting: Prepare recurring KPI reports, performance dashboards, and management reports on schedule to support performance monitoring and executive reporting.
- Data Visualization & User Experience: Present data through clear and effective visualizations that simplify the understanding of business trends and results for users across different functions.
- Report Automation: Develop automated solutions for recurring reports and workflows to reduce manual effort, improve efficiency, and ensure timely delivery.
- Self-Service BI & User Enablement: Develop reusable datasets and standardized reports, providing support for business users in accessing and using approved information independently.
- Data Validation & Quality Assurance: Validate data, calculations, and KPI results before publishing reports to ensure accuracy and consistency; investigate, resolve, or escalate data quality issues when necessary.
- BI Solutions Performance Support: Monitor dashboard performance, data refreshes, and report availability to help ensure the reliability and continuity of BI solutions.
- Business User Support: Respond to reporting requests, troubleshoot dashboard issues, and assist users across business functions in understanding and interpreting BI outputs.
- Standards & Documentation: Maintain documentation of reports, KPI definitions, and calculation rules, ensuring compliance with approved reporting and data governance standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve reporting quality, data visualization, and automation processes while keeping up to date with developments in business intelligence tools and practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Engineering, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, reporting, dashboard development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience developing dashboards, reports, KPI scorecards, and data visualizations using business intelligence platforms.
- Experience in retail, e-commerce, consumer goods, or similarly data-driven industries is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in reporting and KPI development.
- Ability to design clear, intuitive, and user-friendly dashboards.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining findings to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple reporting requests.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across different business functions.
