Responsibilities

Spotfire & Power BI Dashboard Development:
- Design and develop interactive Spotfire dashboards using advanced features such as dynamic filtering and Spotfire JavaScript API.
- Create advanced visualizations like heatmaps, scatter plots, and geospatial maps.
- Develop interactive dashboards in Power BI Desktop, utilizing Power Query and DAX for data transformation and calculations.

Data Analysis and Modelling:
- Transform raw data into meaningful insights aligning with business needs.
- Develop and maintain data models to support complex reporting and analytical requirements.

Database and Cloud Integration:
- Optimize SQL queries for Oracle and PostgreSQL databases, ensuring efficient ETL processes.
- Integrate data from cloud sources (Azure, AWS), ensuring smooth data flow.

REST API Integration:
- Work with REST APIs to connect and manage data from external systems.

Data Handling & Performance Optimization:
- Manage large datasets efficiently for quick load times and optimal dashboard performance.
- Implement best practices for data aggregation and optimization.

Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide technical solutions.
- Provide training and support for end-users on dashboards and reports.
Qualifications

Experience & Expertise:
- 5+ years of BI Developer experience with focus on dashboard design using Spotfire and Power BI.
- Strong background in Data Analysis, modeling, and integrity of large datasets.
- Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is a plus.

Technical Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of Spotfire and Power BI features, including DAX and Power Query.
- Proficient in SQL for querying Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
- Familiar with REST APIs and cloud platforms like Azure and AWS.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex concepts.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of additional BI tools or platforms.
- Experience with data warehousing and big data technologies.
- Certification in BI tools (Spotfire, Power BI, etc.).
- Experience with Oil & Gas data analytics is highly desirable.
