As a Senior Big Data Engineer, you will be part of a team of data-focused Engineers dedicated to continuous learning and improvement. You will work with a cutting-edge technology stack and engage with customers ranging from large corporations to start-ups. Your involvement will span the entire project lifecycle, from initial design to full-scale implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design data models and build ETL pipelines to address business problems.
- Work with Databricks Lakehouse architecture and Azure cloud technologies (Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake Services).
- Develop and scale both streaming and batch data pipelines.
- Conduct trade-off analysis and solve technical challenges.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and engage in impactful projects.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in data engineering, particularly in designing data models and ETL pipelines.
- Proficiency in Python and PySpark.
- Advanced SQL skills for relational databases.
- Knowledgeable in database and data warehouse design best practices.
- Effective communication skills in English (upper-intermediate level or higher).
