The company is looking for an amazingly talented Senior BIM/CAD Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be involved as a CAD/BIM professional in the creation, modification, and management of infrastructure design drawings and models. This position will focus on model preparation, clash rendition, and resolution. You will support various stages of submissions for both clients and stakeholders while coordinating with multiple discipline teams across various infrastructure projects, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to project timelines.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Work closely with the CAD/BIM manager and design leads to ensure project compliance with policies and processes, ensuring timely implementation and completion.
- Coordinate with different CAD teams, ensuring that design input requirements and clashes are notified and deadlines are met.
- Utilize CAD workstations and resources, working with BIM leads, design leads, and engineers to develop engineering drawings consisting of basic arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, isometrics, and component details from rough sketches and/or from general engineering and design information according to established standards and procedures.
- Understand the BIM modeling process and manage all BIM-related activities from project startup to completion.
- Review each drawing for readability, presentation, and adherence to standards, in accordance with company QA/QC processes.
- Create different types of parametric and non-parametric families.
- Produce scheduling and quantity extraction from the model.
- Ensure proper documentation of all design changes, drawing revisions, and project updates for future reference and auditing.
- Manage the digital archiving of completed project drawings and related documents, maintaining an organized system for easy access.
- Maintain effective communication with team leads, engineers, and other departments to resolve design-related issues or discrepancies.
- Implement quality control processes to catch errors early in the design process, avoiding costly revisions or project delays.
- Customize CAD software and tools to optimize productivity and streamline design processes.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 10+ years of MEA/UAE CAD drafting and BIM experience in Wet and Dry utilities projects, with 3+ years of Utility Pipe Network Modelling experience.
- Must have software experience in AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, and Navisworks.
- Advanced knowledge of Common Data Environment (CDE) usage and management for model production - Autodesk Forma and Bentley ProjectWise.
- MicroStation Software knowledge is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of LOD requirements.
- Good knowledge of DEWA/DM/RTA standards and existing utilities management.
- Proficient in BIM, with understanding of LOD requirements and BIM processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Proficiency in BIM software including Navisworks, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD.
- Experience working to international standards such as ISO 19650.
- Strong knowledge in Infrastructure Wet & Dry utilities Model and layout preparation.
- Experience with clash detection, issue management, and model-based design review.
- Capability to support training initiatives and knowledge sharing within the BIM team.
- Understanding of ROW-related cross sections and routing plan preparation.
- Ability to identify issues and find solutions to challenges during the design and review process.
- Capability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
