Senior Business Analyst

The company is seeking a Senior Business Analyst / Proxy Product Owner focused on Digital Assets. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in banking, payments, financial services, fintech, or other regulated environments. The role requires strong expertise in digital assets, blockchain technology, and tokenization-related initiatives, as well as relevant experience in cross-border payments and real-world asset tokenization.

Work Conditions: Contract (6 months with potential for extension)

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates (On-site)

Mandatory Skills and Experience:

• Strong experience in capturing requirements related to compliance, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), controls, and operational processes.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across business, operations, compliance, legal, and technology teams.

Functional and Domain Knowledge:

• Good understanding of digital assets, blockchain / Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), tokenization, wallet and custody operating models, and settlement and reconciliation flows.
• Strong knowledge of cross-border payment processes and the transaction lifecycle.
• Familiarity with AML, sanctions, Know Your Customer (KYC), transaction monitoring, and control requirements within regulated environments.

Business Analysis and Product Support Skills:

• Proficient in requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation.
• Ability to create high-quality Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), user stories, business rules, process maps, and test scenarios.
• Experience in supporting prioritization, backlog clarification, and day-to-day functional decision-making.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Capable of preparing Minutes of Meetings (MoMs), action trackers, management summaries, and presentations.
