Key Responsibilities
- Engage directly with business stakeholders, relationship managers, product owners, and technology teams to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into clear functional specifications.
- Lead requirement workshops, discovery sessions, and system walkthroughs for wealth management products, including investment advisory, portfolio management, structured products, mutual funds, treasury, and alternative investments.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment of delivery milestones, dependencies, and client expectations.
- Drive end-to-end requirements lifecycle: requirement documentation, BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, gap analysis, and process mapping.
- Evaluate current-state business processes and recommend optimized target-state solutions aligned with regulatory guidelines (DFSA, CB UAE).
- Coordinate with onsite/offshore technology teams for solution design, UAT planning, test case validation, and production rollout.
- Support portfolio review processes, data lineage analysis, dashboard/reporting enhancements, and digital wealth transformation initiatives.
- Track and report progress to senior stakeholders, ensuring proactive risk identification and issue resolution.
- Build strong client relationships by serving as the primary liaison for business and technology alignment.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Wealth Management or Private Banking.
- Strong understanding of investment products, risk profiling, advisory processes, KYC/AML, onboarding, suitability, and portfolio monitoring workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multi-project environments with tight timelines.
- Excellent client management, stakeholder communication, and requirement negotiation skills.
- Hands-on experience preparing BRDs, user stories, process flows (using BPMN tools), and functional specifications.
- Prior experience working in the Middle East (preferably Dubai) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with core banking and wealth platforms such as Temenos Wealth Suite, Avaloq, T24, Finacle Wealth, or similar.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and presentation skills.
