We are seeking a skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements, creating detailed business analyses that outline problems, opportunities, and solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Plan business analysis approach, including information management and stakeholder engagement.
- Elicit requirements using various techniques.
- Define business goals, needs, and objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including business representatives, SMEs, development and QA teams.
- Analyze current state (as-is), conduct to-be analysis, and identify gaps.
- Translate business needs into requirements (functional and non-functional).
- Document requirements according to the selected framework, BA approach, and definition of ready (e.g., use cases, epics, user stories with acceptance criteria).
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Oil & Gas, Energy, or large-scale IT transformation projects.
- Good understanding of GIS systems, SAP integration, and engineering workflows.
- Familiarity with web-based enterprise applications (Java/Angular stack, Oracle DB).
- Experience managing project scope requirements and using requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Gitlab).
- Ability to arrange and facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders.
- Experience using visual modeling notations (UML, BPMN), wireframes, and diagrams.
- Ability to support solution testing/UAT.
- Fluent English communication skills (B2 level or higher).
- Academic degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Nice to have:
- Fluent Arabic communication skills (B2 level or higher).
Work Conditions:
- The usual working hours for full-time roles at the company in Saudi Arabia are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, including a one-hour unpaid lunch break. Working hours may vary based on client requirements, with flexibility accommodated whenever possible.
