About the Role
This role will support our sales efforts, particularly focusing on the UAE market. You will be responsible for delivering new business sales to meet individual targets and ensuring effective commercial underwriting of credit insurance across the region. Your objective will be to develop awareness in the Credit Insurance market, generate leads, and secure profitable business for the company by identifying opportunities for all product lines. Additionally, you will work on building a strong network of introducers and general insurance brokers to enhance new business lead generation.

Role Objectives:
- Deliver new business sales to meet individual targets.
- Liaise with the Commercial Department to ensure prudent Commercial Underwriting of Credit Insurance Business, adhering to Group and UAE Rules and Standards.
- Develop interest and awareness in the Credit Insurance market in your allocated geographical region to generate leads and secure profitable business for the company.
- Identify opportunities for all product lines, thereby maximizing contribution to the business.
- Convert internal leads presented.
- Build a network of introducers and a panel of general insurance brokers to provide new business leads.
- Collaborate closely with Commercial Underwriting, the Marketing Department, and any external marketing resources in managing leads and providing feedback on activity results.
- Work with the Client Services & Contract Services teams to ensure timely and efficient service to prospects and clients.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Deliver budgeted targets for new sales for credit insurance.
- Generate and follow up leads and appointments through networking, proactive prospecting, and using marketing resources.
- Update and maintain the CRM system.
- Manage relationships with prospects and introducers.
- Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Price cases using the PEPS pricing tool.
- Produce accurate contract documentation via the company system.
- Conduct full KYC (Know Your Customer) and UBO (Ultimate Beneficial Owner) checks on all policies sold.

Qualifications
Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Proven sales experience (minimum of 7+ years) with desirable TCI industry experience.
- Ability to self-motivate and focus on goals and objectives while working independently.
- Strong sales negotiation and communication skills.
- A proactive business hunter with a capacity for prioritization and time management.
- In-depth familiarity with various contract structures to negotiate between price and risk effectively.
- Knowledge of the current economic climate and its market impacts.
- Driven nature with the ability to thrive in a target-driven environment.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
- Proven capability in building long-term relationships internally and externally.
- Understanding of compliance in a regulated environment.
