About the Role
We are looking for a Group Analyst to join Team Snapchat! In this role, you will work closely with the Sales team to uncover actionable insights that will help unlock revenue and drive category growth. You will be responsible for identifying aggregate vertical trends as well as conducting in-depth client analysis.

What You’ll Do
- Understand business challenges and assist in making data-driven decisions by collating and analyzing information from multiple sources to create a logical and coherent narrative.
- Support leadership in addressing business needs by combining data across multiple sources.
- Identify performance trends across auction campaigns to fuel optimization recommendations and evangelize best practices within the account management group.
- Utilize data and logic to impact client and business success by providing analysis, insights, reports, and actionable recommendations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to build out measurement agendas and strategies, provide data-driven insights for products in alpha or beta, and deliver feedback on data tools under development.
- Distill complex analytical concepts for broader audiences, influencing decision-making through data storytelling.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports to help the business understand and optimize advertiser performance and product development through a client-centric lens.
- Proactively identify projects that impact revenue, define scope and objectives, and propose necessary courses of action to attain objectives.
- Collaborate with Account Management to provide real-time analysis for auction campaigns, influencing incremental spend through data-driven upsell recommendations.
- Function as a thought leader, offering insights into vertical or category industry trends to inform or enhance in-market pitches.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, economics, mathematics, or equivalent preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in quantitative analysis and research.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python/R for analysis and data visualization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Data-driven and analytical mindset.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in an agile, dynamic environment.
- Capable of working independently while also functioning as a collaborative team player.
- Proficient in understanding business problems and designing implementable, efficient, and scalable technical data-based solutions.
- Experience analyzing big data sets and deriving actionable insights.
- Comfortable interpreting complex data signals and presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
