Key Responsibilities:

Common Operational Picture (COP):
- Develop and enhance the COP, integrating real-time data from various domains (air, ground, sea).
- Manage track correlation and data representation for operator interactions.
- Establish data models and interoperability standards.

Sensor Network Management & Control:
- Oversee sensor tasking, mode control, and ensure operational efficiency.
- Implement health monitoring, calibration workflows, and manage sensor interactions.

Command & Control Workflows:
- Design operator workflows for decision support and response tasking.
- Automate and encode mission rules, ensuring clear guidelines for operator involvement.

Systems Integration:
- Collaborate with Hardware Integration Engineers for seamless sensor integration.
- Create and manage documentation for interfaces and integration testing.

Systems Engineering & Delivery:
- Lead requirements analysis, architecture formulation, and verification for the C2 subsystem.
- Conduct comprehensive testing campaigns and manage system performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years in systems or mission-systems engineering for complex, real-time systems.
- Proven experience in developing an operational picture or multi-sensor command-and-control systems.
- Competence in sensor management, including tasking and health monitoring.
- Familiar with real-time distributed systems and messaging protocols (e.g., DDS, ROS).
- Proficient in programming languages like Python and/or C++ and comfortable with Linux environments.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems, Electrical, Aerospace, Computer, Robotics Engineering, or a related field.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with drones, counter-UAS systems, or multi-target tracking.
- Familiarity with military tactical data standards.
- Knowledge of GIS and geospatial mapping tools.
- Experience in test-range or safety-critical environments.
