Position

The company Consulting team is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to join us in Dubai, UAE. In this role, you will act as a subject-matter expert in the company's infrastructure and cloud technology. Your responsibilities will include answering inquiries regarding best practices in automation, reliability, scalability, maintainability, high availability, and failover setups, along with leading the on-site delivery and implementation of the company's technology.

You will develop a clear understanding of our customers' infrastructures and business challenges, allowing you to make suitable recommendations tailored to their environments. Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain the confidence of prospective customers through effective delivery of discovery, analysis, and design workshops that inform architecture design decisions aligned with the company's solutions.
  • Design and scope delivery projects, guiding consulting teams through successful pilot and production deployments.
  • Create and disseminate content that enables the broader company organization to effectively sell, service, and support our solutions at scale.
  • Collaborate with product business units, product engineering, consulting, support, and sales to ensure an exceptional customer experience with the company's products.
  • Contribute to developing repeatable methodologies and tools aimed at scaling the company's service capabilities and reducing delivery risks.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership by producing high-quality white papers, webinars, and speaking at industry-leading conferences.

What You Will Bring:

  • Background in the company's Enterprise Linux, including command line skills and Linux network configuration.
  • Experience with containers, container management utilities, and debugging containers; familiarity with Quay.
  • Skills in package management via command line and the company's Satellite.
  • Proficiency in the company's OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) for deployment purposes.
  • Strong architecture skills around datacenter infrastructure (networking, compute, and storage).
  • Knowledge of Compute skills such as Lights-Out-Management (LOM), UEFI/BIOS, and server hardware.
  • Proficiency in Networking skills, including Software Defined Networking, Layer 2, Layer 3, and Layer 4.
  • Experience with Storage skills related to Software Defined Storage, SAN, and NAS.
  • Basic knowledge of Ansible, including playbooks and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Authentication and Authorization systems, such as the company's IDM and Active Directory.
  • Experience in network/datacenter design and documentation.
