The Senior Cloud Security Engineer specializes in providing security for cloud-based digital platforms and plays an integral role in protecting the organization's data. This role involves analyzing existing cloud structures and creating new and enhanced security methods. Responsibilities include operating practical solutions to improve the risk posture of the organization and its customers against cyber threats, performing security reviews, implementing detections, remediating findings, and enforcing security protocols across multi-cloud and container environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute Cyber security strategy and infrastructure, including threat management vulnerability framework development.
  • Identify, test, and monitor key security controls and technical processes to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of data and systems.
  • Design and implement cloud security solutions for monitoring, vulnerability remediation, and risk reduction.
  • Automate security controls, data, and processes to provide improved metrics and operational support.
  • Oversee incident identification, assessment, reporting, communication, and mitigation.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Monitor and respond to all security events/logs of relevant systems and devices.
  • Maintain and enhance the annual ISO27001 framework and certifications.

About You:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud security in the financial sector or fast-paced IT environment.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more major cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle Cloud).
  • Solid experience managing and developing Information Security Frameworks.
  • Proficient in Security Incident Management and Response.
  • In-depth knowledge of security concepts, cyber-attacks, risk management, and incident management.
  • Experience with compliance testing and vulnerability management tools.
  • Knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as Java, PHP, Python, Ruby, or Perl is advantageous.
  • Relevant certifications (AWS/Azure/Oracle Cloud, MCSE, CCNA, RHSE, CCSP, CISSP, GIAC) are a strong advantage.

Language Requirements:
Proficiency in English is expected; additional languages are a plus.
