About the Role
As a Senior Coating Advisor, you will provide professional technical advice to our customers through on-site support on paint application, inspections, and reporting. You will also communicate product performance feedback to local Technical Service Support to ensure compliance with coating specifications, completion of jobs according to contracts, and customer satisfaction while ensuring accuracy in the product’s Application guide. This position is based in Dammam and reports to the Technical Services and Support Manager.

Responsibilities:
- Inspect coating activities for shipbuilding, ship repair, offshore structures, vessels, and marine tank linings, focusing on surface preparation, environmental conditions, application, dry film thickness (DFT), curing, and final coating quality.
- Provide clear instructions to clients and relevant staff on paint applications by collaborating with client representatives to ensure coating specifications and customer expectations are met.
- Independently inspect specific projects assigned by your manager, following inspection test plans and working procedures to ensure products are applied according to specifications.
- Prepare relevant inspection reports and test results by compiling data from inspections to document that specification inspection criteria have been met, including recommendations for corrective actions.
- Conduct paint inspections for assigned projects and specified products/services including tank linings (Epoxy), SeaLion series, Baltoflake, Chemflake, Inorganic Zinc Silicates, and HPS in accordance with HSE policies and application procedures.
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Chemistry, Corrosion Engineering or related field.
- 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in performance coatings, shipbuilding, corrosion protection, and industrial coating applications.
- Professional certifications in protective coatings and corrosion control, such as AMPP/NACE Coating Inspector Program (CIP), FROSIO, or equivalent.
- Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing.
Location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
