Responsibilities
- Manage the commercial planning and execution of residential development projects.
- Develop, implement, and monitor commercial strategies to drive profitability and ensure financial objectives are met.
- Conduct market research and feasibility studies to support project development.
- Prepare and oversee project budgets, financial forecasting, and cash flows.
- Negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Identify and manage risks related to commercial activities and project delivery.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment with project timelines and quality standards.
- Lead and mentor junior commercial staff, cultivating a culture of excellence and professional growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 9-12 years of experience in commercial management, focusing on residential projects.
- Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
- Strong financial acumen with expertise in budget management and financial analysis.
- Demonstrated contract negotiation skills and experience managing complex agreements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with effective communication capabilities.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with commercial management software and project management tools.
