Senior Competency Assessment & Quality Assurance Engineer

We are currently seeking a Senior Competency Assessment & Quality Assurance Engineer to support the implementation and continuous improvement of our Quality Competency and Assurance Program. This role involves assessing the technical competency and qualifications of Quality personnel, ensuring compliance with established competency requirements, and conducting audits to meet client and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the Quality Competency Assessment Program.
• Conduct assessments for QA/QC Engineers, Inspectors, and other quality-critical roles.
• Review personnel qualifications against competency requirements.
• Perform gap analyses and recommend training or development actions.
• Maintain Quality Competency Matrices and Assessment Registers.
• Conduct internal quality audits and client audits.
• Analyze recurring quality findings to identify competency-related root causes.
• Provide technical advice on competency and quality assurance.
• Monitor implementation of corrective actions and Quality KPIs.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001.
• Experience in conducting audits and quality inspections.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor / Internal Auditor certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Quality Reporting Tools.
