Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Compliance & Monitoring function, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Develop and implement effective compliance monitoring programs and strategies.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
- Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior management on compliance matters.
- Support the Head of Compliance Assurance & Monitoring in maintaining a robust FCC compliance framework.
- Identify, assess, and manage enterprise-wide business risks across the institution.
- Promote a culture of compliance and ethical behavior through training and awareness programs.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices, ensuring the organization's compliance.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance integration into business processes.
- Prepare and present compliance-related reports and findings to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a compliance role, with a focus on financial crimes compliance.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing compliance monitoring programs.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to FCC.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and assess risks.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using compliance software and tools for monitoring and reporting.
- Strong ethical judgment and a commitment to maintaining a culture of integrity.
- Willingness to stay updated on regulatory changes and attend relevant training programs.
