We are seeking a Senior Compliance Officer to join our Compliance Assurance & Monitoring department. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and implementing robust compliance monitoring programs, assessing risks, and providing strategic guidance to mitigate compliance issues. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining a strong FCC compliance framework and fostering a culture of compliance and ethics throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Compliance & Monitoring function, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Develop and implement effective compliance monitoring programs and strategies.
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
  • Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior management on compliance matters.
  • Support the Head of Compliance Assurance & Monitoring in maintaining a robust FCC compliance framework.
  • Identify, assess, and manage enterprise-wide business risks across the institution.
  • Promote a culture of compliance and ethical behavior through training and awareness programs.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices, ensuring the organization's compliance.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance integration into business processes.
  • Prepare and present compliance-related reports and findings to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a compliance role, with a focus on financial crimes compliance.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing compliance monitoring programs.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to FCC.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and assess risks.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using compliance software and tools for monitoring and reporting.
  • Strong ethical judgment and a commitment to maintaining a culture of integrity.
  • Willingness to stay updated on regulatory changes and attend relevant training programs.

The Senior Compliance Officer will lead and oversee the Compliance & Monitoring function, ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal policies related to Financial Crimes Compliance.
