The FAAS practice is one of the fastest-growing areas of our business, requiring a Senior Consultant to support large-scale projects related to accounting advisory services on Mergers & Acquisitions, IPO Readiness Assessments, GAAP Conversions, and new accounting standards implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the impact of new accounting standards, proposed transactions, or regulatory changes for a diverse range of clients.
- Build and maintain strong networks internally and externally.
- Report to Managers, Senior Managers, Directors, and Partners during various engagement stages.
- Provide advisory services for M&A integration, IPOs, SPACs, and divestitures, ensuring high-quality reporting.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality work in line with EY policies and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other EY locations, service lines, and specialists to provide integrated services.
- Monitor engagement economics against financial metrics and manage stakeholder communications.
- Consult on complex accounting issues to ensure clarity and accuracy of FAAS work products.
Skills and Attributes for Success:
- Proactive, accountable, and results-driven approach.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and communicate effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum three years of experience in auditing or consulting.
- CPA / CA / ACCA certification.
- Knowledge of accounting and auditing processes.
- Proven experience with IFRS.
- Strong technical skills and risk management ability.
- Excellent teamwork, written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel on short notice.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with a leading audit firm.
- Proficiency in the Arabic language.
- Experience in sectors such as Construction, Energy, Financial Services, Government & Public Sector, and Healthcare.
