Position

As part of the Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) within Assurance, you will assist clients in addressing the accounting and financial reporting challenges they face in their business. You will be involved in providing insights and services that facilitate analytics, decision-making, and innovation to enhance finance functions. Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (On-site)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with a diverse range of clients across various industries.
  • Report to Managers, Senior Managers, Directors, and Partners during various stages of FAAS engagements.
  • Provide advisory services on transactional accounting and reporting for M&A (including pre-deal structuring, deal execution, and post-merger integration), divestitures, and financial carve-outs.
  • Ensure high-quality work that is timely and compliant with the company policies.
  • Collaborate with other locations, service lines, and specialists to deliver integrated services.
  • Monitor engagement economics against key financial metrics and manage stakeholders.
  • Consult on complex accounting and reporting issues, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and professionalism in deliverables.
  • Comply with regulatory requirements and deliver effective execution of the FAAS service delivery framework.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in finance and/or accounting.
  • Minimum three years of experience as an auditor, consultant, or technical resource in a public accounting firm.
  • CPA, CA, or ACCA certification.
  • Knowledge of accounting and financial reporting, with strong IFRS skills.
  • Excellent teamwork abilities and skills working with diverse teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel on short notice as necessary.

Preferred:

  • Master's or MBA qualification.
  • Experience with a leading audit firm.
  • Sector experience in one or more of the following: Construction, Energy, Financial Services, Government & Public Sector, Healthcare.
